If you are the legal representative of
Jimi's estate and you don't want his ROIOs shared here you can send me
an e-mail at idontbelievetherearenoids@yahoo.com and I will close this
blog and stop sharing Jimi's ROIOs freely with other fans. As you will
know ROIOs exist - you can't make them vanish. So, why not let Jimi's
fans download them for free instead of having to purchase them from
commercial bootleggers on auction sites? The ATM series was created by
fans to be shared freely amongst fans. We support Jimi and his estate
by purchasing his official releases which are absolutely not shared
here.
I have an inquiry…I’d like to touch on your knowledge as to this…as to the Various Collection called “ ‘Studio “
ReplyDeleteWith an FTO label on the back I have 3 Multi-volume collections, specifically called Studio ’67, Studio ’69, & Studio ’70.
They all have a Multi-volume deluxe packaging format.
My 2 questions are:-
1.Are their FTO Studio ’66 or Studio ’68, collections?
2.Regardless,how do you (personally) think these compare to these 2 Multi-volume Studio collections:-
In the Studio [Reclamation]
And
“Jimi Hendrix..The Complete 1970 Studio Recordings” (11 volumes)
Thank you again for your time & expertise

There is a Studio '66 collection - no Studio '68. The FTO collections are very comprehensive and upgrades become available from time to time where necessary.
ReplyDeleteI have the Reclamation release although I'm not familiar with the Complete 1970 Studio Recordings. I'm happy with the FTO versions. FTO's Studio '70 comprises 11 CDs in total and is complete - or as complete as possible - so maybe the Complete Studio '70 is derived from the FTO.
There are other FTO relesaes which I will be posting after I've completed the ATMs.
Thanks again, similarly in "ATM 057"
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I've found something I've been looking for over 30 years, Rameses!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to extract this file, it chokes on the 3rd flac each time; tried re-downloading and different expander programs. Any chance the file could be corrupted and needs replacing?
